When I Grow Too Old to Sing

INSTALLATION DINNER
January 2022

We gathered at Napolinos in Wildwood for dinner, song, recognition, and installation of new officers . . . who by the way looked surprisingly like the old officers.

Dinner

Dinner was a treat!

Especially since the Heart Throbs didn’t have to make it.

Awards

The Webmasters salary was doubled for the 4th year in a row.

Everyone knew the answer to this math problem:  What was the original salary when after doubling it 4 times, it remains the same?

Roses for the Ladies

Fran did the honors.

The ladies loved them. . . and especially our waitress, Lolly, who also received a serenade.  Amazing . . .  there was a Barbershop song written about Lolly.

Installation

The HOF Chorus was honored to have Ken Buckner install our officers. Ken was a member of Citations, an award-winning show quartet in the 1960s and 1970s.  Their rendition of “What a Wonderful World” during their 1972 USO tour to Vietnam had such an impact on the troops that it was included in the Robin Williams movie, “Good Morning Vietnam.”

Ken was a member and director of the Thoroughbred Chorus, a seven time international gold medal winner, and his senior quartet, Barons, won the international gold medal in 2003.

It was indeed an honor to have Ken join us for this installation.
